Terms of service

Treatmnt turns a client brief into a video treatment: an AI-generated concept, shotlist and moodboard, laid out as a designed PDF you can download and send to your client. You use it through your browser; we run the generation on our servers.

You need an account to generate treatments. You sign in with a magic link or Google; keep access to your email account secure, because whoever controls it controls your Treatmnt account. You must be able to enter a binding contract to use paid features. One person per account — no shared logins for teams (there is no team product yet, and pretending one account is a team breaks things like credits).

Generating a treatment costs one credit. Free accounts get one credit at signup and produce watermarked PDFs. Paid options are a one-off single credit (€19) or a monthly subscription (Creator, €29 for 5 credits per month; Studio, €79 for 20 credits per month plus a brand kit). Payments are handled by Stripe.

Subscription credits expire at each monthly renewal — they do not roll over. One-off credits never expire. If a generation fails on our side, the credit is refunded automatically; you never pay for a failed generation. Regenerating individual sections of a treatment is free (within a fair limit); a full regeneration from the same brief costs one credit.

If you are an EU consumer: you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. Because credits give immediate access to digital content, by buying credits you agree that we deliver right away, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for credits you have already spent on a generation. Unused one-off credits within the 14-day window are refundable — just ask.

You can cancel a subscription at any time, self-serve, in the customer portal. Cancelling stops future charges; credits already granted for the current period keep working until that period ends, and PDFs you have generated stay yours.

Treatmnt is a filmmaking tool, and film covers dark subjects — violence in a music video, nightlife, smoking, difficult themes are all fine. What is not fine, and will be refused and may get your account closed: sexual content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, hate or extremist propaganda, and content that gives instructions for real-world harm. Also: no illegal content, and no using the service to break the law. Refused generations are treated as failed and the credit is refunded.

You own the treatments you generate. We claim no rights over your briefs or your outputs. Use them commercially, edit them, put your own name on them — they are yours. We own the Treatmnt software, templates and brand; buying credits does not transfer any of that.

Treatments are generated by AI. They are a strong starting point, not a verified document: check names, claims, budgets and feasibility before you send a deck to a client. You are responsible for what you present as your work.

We aim to keep Treatmnt up and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Generation depends on third-party AI providers, and sometimes they have a bad day. If the service is down when you need it, we are sorry — and failed generations are refunded, always.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost pitches, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For meaningful changes we will email you before they take effect. If you keep using Treatmnt after a change, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the service and we will refund unused one-off credits.

These terms are governed by Dutch law, and Dutch courts have jurisdiction, without taking away mandatory consumer protections of your own country. Questions, complaints, refund requests: studio@treatmnt.ai. A human reads it.
